Current Imam of Masjid Istiqlal is Professor Dr. Kyai Haji Nasaruddin. According to architectural style, this mosque has an international design. It was designed by Frederich Silaban. This mosque was first established in 1978, and renovated in 1999. It has 2 domes and 1 minaret. The DIA of the dome is 45 meters and the height of its minaret is 317 feet.

5- Hassan II Mosque

 

This beautiful mosque is situated in Casablanca, Morocco, on the bank of the Atlantic Ocean. It was built in the year 1993 and has been open for worshipers since then.

This mosque has an Arab-Andalusian/Moorish architectural design and it was designed by Michel Pinseau, a French architect. A total of 105,000 worshipers can offer prayer at a time.

This mosque has one dome and one minaret. The height of its minaret is 690 feet and it is considered to be the highest minaret of any mosque around the world.
